Audiologist
Dr. Sandy Over earned her doctorate in audiology in 2007 from Salus University after receiving her master’s at Oklahoma University Health Sciences Center in 1984. She had the privilege of starting her career with Dr. JVD Hough’s practice, where she performed diagnostic testing and hearing aid fittings. She later participated in studies at the research center of the Hough Ear Institute. These included research on semi-implantable devices and cochlear implant outcomes. She then began working at the Integris Cochlear Implant Center at the Hough Ear Institute Campus.
Dr. Over considers all these fields of study to be one of the highlights of her career. She believes that improving the quality of life of her patients by improving their ability to hear is a great honor.
In her spare time, Dr. Over enjoys spending time with her family, advancing her skills in creating art, being outdoors and traveling. Dr. Over is an active member of her church, St. Mark Lutheran Church, and has been a resident in Edmond since 1987.
