Dr. Hough has worked at Hearing Care by Hough since its inception. He founded the clinic as a private audiology practice after returning from New Zealand, where he worked as an audiologist, following over seven years as director of audiology at Hough Ear Institute, Otologic Medical Clinic, and Audio Recovery Incorporated. The office was founded to serve the local hearing-impaired community by providing excellent and affordable care, improving quality of life, and glorifying God.
He explains that working in a small audiology clinic allows the team to keep costs down through a simple business model, helping them provide patients with high-quality hearing care.
Dr. Hough finds it especially rewarding to work in a profession where treatment can produce such encouraging results and high levels of patient satisfaction, often accompanied by grateful feedback from patients.
